Great little animation.
Have to agree and say the guys drastic changes in emotions is what made this animation great. Especially when he almost broke down into tears over his board breaking, good stuff. Oh yes, can't forget to pay omage to the around the world bashing he got, always classic. Happy Holiday's man and keep up the good work.

Its a tough decision, but the right one
It seems when you first see this you think "WTF he is leaving NG?, isn't that what gets his animations out there?" . But then you listen to the commentary and it makes more sense. Newgrounds being a great place it is, does have dark little negatives when it comes from the perspective of the animator. When the feedback of your fans/non-fans is right there in your face it does many things. And yes it can get you into the rut where your trying to make the animations because you want people to like them.
You forget the whole reason why you make animations, because its something you do to humor yourself. Yes the plus side is making stuff people like, but when you loose focus of the real reason things go down hill. And some of you might see this in the TooF animations. I honestly enjoyed all of them, and but you can tell where some stuff was put in there "out of the way". It wasn't normal, it just didn't feel right. This is what happens when your focus changes from doing what you love, to doing what you think other people will like.

I don't know about you guys but what time I put into graphic design/animation etc is because I enjoy it. And with many of us our free time is precious, we have jobs, go to college, have real lives (unlike some on here). If your not enjoying it man, than yeah this is a step in the right direction. We all know you have a good number of aces up your sleve, so by far it won't be the end of TooF on Newgrounds. But in light of it all it will make things much better.

Kickass review of the century. Thanks dude. I hope everyone sees it the way you do, because that's all it's meant to be.
It sucked but it didn't suck...
This is a hard animation to review, but I will try my best to keep things as coherent as possible. First off the graphics are lack luster at best. But you can also tell in the little details you did put some time into re-creating the feel of Goldeneye. As far as sound goes you made a good choice in using the SFX/Music from the game. A 3d game is hard to re-create in Flash, so the semi tweened movements etc are acceptable. But at the same time I do think there are some better ways to execute running etc. Then of course it overall has a cheesy feel to it at times, including the un-needed street fighter reference. But at the same time it is executed well enough to bring back the great memories I had of playing Goldeneye. So with all things considered you get a 4 out of 5 and a 7 out of 10. I think if you work on the graphic end, and some other bits and peices, you have a great series in the making.
If you notice, the levels in the actual Goldeneye game were lackluster also. I felt the need to capture the game exactly how it was and also I had already drawn like that in the first episode so I decided to keep it the same for this one.

I would have to say TooF 5 has dethroned TooF 3 as the best TooF episode. It has violence, humor, and the annoying cuban bastards get their ass kicked. And to boot we have Toof Croose and Solid Toof making guest apperances. Commentary wasn't as good as the others, but it was still worth the watch. Only real gripe was it felt cut off at the end, but at least you ended it with a baking brownies joke. Can't wait till TooF 6!

A story told be teef!
While this one didn't have the same vibe as Part 3 had, it was a good peice of work from a more serious aspect. There was some good humor in it, like him counting himself blink. As far as the commentary goes, it was a little too appologetic to be honest. Over all a good peice. TooF 3 was better but in a different way, so it gets a 9. Hope it makes front page bro.
As do I, though, I know Tom likes to change things up, so, I'm unsure if it'll do anything of the sort...Thanks for the hope though :D
Earpeices and Sunglasses
It isn't often that a great origional series comes along. Gotta love inovative stuff like smart ass commentaries :) . This was the first one I saw, but it got me to check out the others and the website legopresents dot com. Only thing I noticed was the website episodes don't have the great commentaries attached, must be a NG only thing. Can't wait for Toof 4, more animating and less beans and Starcraft! LoL.
